Biography

Nancy Garrison Jenn is a graduate of the Yale School of Management. She is a global authority on headhunters and an author, consultant and well known speaker on the executive search profession.

She advises private equity and corporate clients on their executive search strategy, She is also a specialist on search in emerging markets including: Brasil, China, Dubai, India, The Mideast and Africa.

She wrote the classic “Headhunters and how to Use Them” (Profile Books); “The Global 200” (Jossey Bass) and a popular series of 10 regional reports on executive search for The Economist/EIU. She lectures at many MBA schools on “networking with headhunters” including, INSEAD, London Business School, CEIBS, Esade, Georgetown, and The Yale School of Management. She also runs a global HR networking group in London – sponsored by Amex and Time Warner – with a focus on the recruitment of top talent, successful integration of digital talent and global mindset. She also counsels senior executives on nonexecutive roles and career track.

Mrs Garrison Jenn has American and French nationality and is based in London. She previously had a 20 year career in international marketing/brand management with Gillette, Revlon, LVMH and Warner Communications. During this time, she worked in the US and in Brasil, Kenya and South Africa. Prior, she worked for Atari in a senior marketing role and was also an advisor to Nolan Bushnell (Atari founder) on two startups in the TMT field.

She is a frequent keynote speaker at executive search industry association meetings including the AESC, ESIS and Search Consult and for the global HR profession.
